The 46th International Cyclo-cross of the ACC Contern is held in Contern on Saturday, October 30, 2021 under the denominations 16th Grand-prix de la Commune de Contern and 33rd Grand-prix COMAT. It is organized according to the rules of the Fédération du Sport Cycliste Luxembourgeois (FSCL) and the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI).

Organizer is the ACC Contern, represented by Mr Alain Conter, 47, Op der Hobuch, L-5832 Fentange, Tél : +352 621 23 16 45, e-mail : acccontern@gmail.com.

It is an international event of UCI class 2 (C2) for the categories men junior, women junior, U23 and elite and men U23 and elite.

The event is held under the COVID-Check rules of the Luxemburg Government. All persons involved have to respect the Anti-Covid regulations and guidelines of the organizer.

The races are held as round 2 of the SKODA-Cross-Cup series which is organized by the FSCL. The full regulations of this series can be found on skoda-crosscup.com

There will be no official reception with prize distribution. Riders of all categories can have their prices at the permanent office about an hour after the finish of their respective race

Anti-doping controls can be performed by the Luxemburgish Anti-Doping Agency (Agence Luxembourgeoise Anti-Dopage - ALAD). If so, they are taking place in the changing rooms of the Sports Centrum « Um Ewent », situated at 41, rue de Syren in L-5316 Contern

Pre-registration for the different races until Thursday, October 28, 2021 is mandatory. It can be done online on fscl.lu or by sending a message to the organizer (e-mail acccontern@gmail.com) with following informations: Name, First Name, UCI-Code, Team or Club, Category, Gender, Nationality and Year of Birth.

If you are in possession of a transponder that works with the MyLaps system, please use it during the race and provide the code of the transponder upon registration. There are no registration fees for the race, but the organizer will charge 10 EUR renting fee to riders that have to rent their transponder.

The 33rd Grand-Prix Comat is a series of cyclo-cross races open to following categories: elite women, U23 women, junior women, junior men and novices (male / female).

The races for the categories juniors and women (including U23 women and juniors) are international races on the UCI calendar (C2 – Class 2). Masters are not allowed to line up with the juniors as the race is an international one. The race for novices (m/f) is a regional race on the FSCL calendar

Starts of the different categories are in Contern according to following schedule:
12h00 – Novices (male / female) (regional cyclo-cross)
13h00 – Junior men (MJ UCI C2 – Class 2)
14h00 – Elite, U23 and junior women (WE UCI C2 – Class 2)

The duration of the race has to approach 30 minutes as much as possible for the novices (m/f), 40 minutes as much as possible for the juniors and 45 minutes for the female categories. The exact number of laps to be covered will be decided by the jury during the event.

Three separate result lists are established, one for the novices (m/f), one for the elite, U23 and junior women and one for the junior men category. (There are no separate rankings for female novices, for U23 women and for junior women)

The award ceremony takes place immediately after the finish on the podium next to the finish line. The three first riders of the races for novices, women and juniors have to attend it as well as the first female novice, the best junior woman and the best U23 woman if they are not already on the podium.

Prizes are according to the FSCL and UCI regulations and can be picked up about an hour after the finish of each race at the permanent office.

The 16th Grand-Prix de la Commune de Contern is an internatoinal cyclo-cross on the FSCL and the UCI calendar and it is open to the elite and U23 categories (ME C2 – Class 2). Masters are not allowed to line up as the race is an international one.

Start of the race is at à 15.15 o’clock in Contern (rue de Moutfort at the exit of the village).

The duration of the race has to approach 60 minutes as much as possible. The exact number of laps to be covered will be decided by the jury during the race

One result list is established only. (no separate rankings for U23 riders thus).

The award ceremony takes place immediately after the finish on the podium next to the finish line. The three first riders of the race have to attend it as well as the first rider from Luxemburg and the first U23 rider if they are not already on the podium.

Prizes are according to the FSCL and UCI regulations and can be picked up about an hour after the finish of each race at the permanent office.
