The 5th Souvenir Marcel Gilles, the 35th Grand-Prix OST-Fenster and the 99th Grand-prix François Faber are organized on Sunday, March 26, 2023 according to the rules of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and the Fédération du Sport Cycliste Luxembourgeois (FSCL).

Start and Finish are located in Bech (11, rue Hanner Bra in front of the Cultural centrum).

The permanent office is situated in the cultural centrum « Hanner Bra » (Address: 11, Hanner Bra, L-6231 Bech) and is open from 8h30 to 17h30 o’clock.

There are no Anti-Covid regulations for sports events for the moment.

Any person, rider, helper, official, spectator or volunteer with symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, breathing difficulties, cough, sore throat, loss of smell, pain, diarrhea, unusual fatigue), even if mild, is asked not to attend or participate in the event, but should contact his or her doctor.

The closing ceremony with prize distribution for the GP OST-Fenster is held at 18h00 o’clock in the Cultural Center “Hanner Bra”. Riders of the other races can collect their prizes in the permanent office about an hour after their race.

Anti-doping controls can be performed by the Luxemburgish Anti-Doping Agency (Agence Luxembourgeoise Anti-Dopage - ALAD). If so, they are taking place in the changing rooms of the cultural Centrum "Hanner Bra", 11, rue Hanner Bra in L-6321 Bech.

Traffic regulations have to be respected strictly.

The races of the 5th Souvenir Marcel Gilles count as round 2 of the Youth Cup which has been created by the FSCL to bring kids to cycling. It is a series of 8 multi-discipline races for the categories minimes, cadets and novices (male and female) with a general classification, a leader jersey and overall prizes at the end of the season.

Pre-registration is mandatory for the races before Friday, March 24, 2023 (12h00 o'clock). It has to be done online on the internet-site of the Luxembourg Cycling Federation FSCL (http://fscl.lu/inscription-online/).

Registration on the day of the race without online pre-registration is not possible.

There is no participation fee for the riders, but a deposit of 10 EUR for the timing transponder will be asked.

This is a regional cycling race registered on the FSCL national calendar and is open to riders in the MINIMES category (11 – 12 years male and female).

The race will be held as a road race over a distance of 18,6 km (2 laps of 9,3 km). Total vertical drop: 2 x 125 = 250 m

A common classification is established for the race, which also indicates the place of each rider within his category (male or female).

No other support cars than neutral cars of the organizer are allowed on the course during the race. A neutral car will be at the disposal of the riders in case of breakdown.

The award ceremony will take place immediately after the finish on the podium installed near the finish line. The first three riders of the race and, if applicable, the best rider of the category not represented on the podium (male / female) will be invited.

The race counts as round 2 of the 2023 FSCL Youth-Cup.

This is a regional cycling race registered on the FSCL national calendar and is open to riders in the CADETS category (13 – 14 years male and female).

The race will be held as a road race over a distance of 27,9 km (3 laps of 9,3 km). Total vertical drop: 3 x 125 = 375 m

A common classification is established for the race, which also indicates the place of each rider within his category (male or female).

No other support cars than neutral cars of the organizer are allowed on the course during the race. A neutral car will be at the disposal of the riders in case of breakdown.

The award ceremony will take place immediately after the finish on the podium installed near the finish line. The first three riders of the race and, if applicable, the best rider of the category not represented on the podium (male / female) will be invited.

The race counts as round 2 of the 2023 FSCL Youth-Cup.

This is a regional cycling race registered on the FSCL national calendar and is open to riders in the categories NOVICES (15 - 16 years male and female) as well as the FEMALE junior, U23 and elite riders.

The race will be held as a road race over a distance of 55,8 km (6 laps of 9,3 km). Total vertical drop: 6 x 125 = 750 m

A common classification is established for the race, which also indicates the place of each rider within his category (NOVICES male, NOVICES female, JUNIORS female, U23 female, ELITE female).

No other support cars than neutral cars of the organizer are allowed on the course during the race. A neutral car will be at the disposal of the riders in case of breakdown.

The award ceremony will take place immediately after the finish on the podium installed near the finish line. The first three riders of the race and, if applicable, the best riders of the categories not represented on the podium (NOVICES male, NOVICES female, JUNIORS female, U23 female, ELITE female) will be invited.

The race counts as round 2 of the 2023 FSCL Youth-Cup.

This is a regional cycling race registered on the FSCL national calendar and is open to riders in the categories JUNIORS and MASTERS (male).

The race will be held as a road race over a distance of 74,4 km (8 laps of 9,3 km). Total vertical drop: 8 x 125 = 1.000 m

A single common classification is established for the race.

No other support cars than neutral cars of the organizer are allowed on the course during the race. A neutral car will be at the disposal of the riders in case of breakdown.

The award ceremony will take place immediately after the finish on the podium installed near the finish line. The first three riders of the race and, if applicable, the best rider of the category not represented on the podium (juniors / masters) will be invited.

The prices are those recommended by the FSCL for this type of event (scale 04).

This is a regional cycling race registered on the FSCL national calendar and is open to riders in the categories ELITE and U23 (male).

Junior and Masters riders are not allowed to participate, as they have their own separate race on the same day.

The race will be held as a road race over a distance of 111,6 km (12 laps of 9,3 km). Total vertical drop: 12 x 125 = 1.500 m

A single common classification is established for the race.

The award ceremony will take place immediately after the finish on the podium installed near the finish line. The first three riders of the race and, if applicable, the best rider of the category not represented on the podium (elite and U23) as well as the best Luxemburgish rider will be invited.
