STATEMENT OF THE ACC CONTERN

It is with sadness that announce to you that the International Cyclo-Cross 2023 in Contern will not take place, just like last year and for the same reasons.

In fact, the situation of the actual and coming road works in the center of the village Contern is still a problem and brings too many uncertainties for the organization of such an event, particularly concerning the access to the races and the already existing parking problems.

We have decided to follow the recommendations of the authorities of the municipality and we will therefore not organize the event which was scheduled for October 29, 2023.

For the moment, we have no solution to reprogram the races in another location or at a later stage of the season, but if there should be an opportunity, we are ready to seize it.
