88th Grand-prix François Faber - 30.05.2010 - Contern

Regulations:

  • The 88th Grand-prix François Faber is organized by the ACC Contern on Sunday, May 30, 2010 according to the rules of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and the Fédération du Sport Cycliste Luxembourgeois (FSCL). The Start of the race is at 14h00 o'clock in Contern and the finish is 11 laps or 121 kilometers later at the same place.

  • The start and finish are located in the rue de Luxembourg in Contern, between the crossroads with rue Steng and rue Kroentgeshof

  • It is a regional race registered in the national calendar of the FSCL and it is open for riders of the elite and U23 categories.

  • Riders of the junior and masters categories are also allowed to line up in the event. However, they will have no seperate classification.

  • According the the regulations of the FSCL, the following riders are able to participate: riders of Luxemburgish teams, riders of maximum three foreign teams, as well as teams or individual riders of the following countries or regions: Grand-Duchy of Luxemburg, Rheinland-Pfalz, Saarland, the provinces of Liège, Luxembourg and Namur as well as the départements Moselle, Meurthe et Moselle, Meuse and Vosges.

  • ATTENTION: The Luxemburgish Cycling Federation (FSCL) can ask a written authorisation from his own National or Regional Federation to any foreign rider participating in that race.

  • The competition is held as a road race

  • The ACC Contern will use the 88th Grand-prix François Faber and the 23rd Grand-prix Ostfenster as reference races when delivering invitations for U23 or elite without contract riders to the Gala Tour de France. That way, we want to thank the riders for their faithfullness and reward those who are also present when the event is not as much in the spotlights.

  • The permanent office is situated in the cultural centrum "An Henckes", rue de Luxembourg in Contern, and it is open from 12h00 to 18h00 o'clock. Registration and handling out of the back numbers takes place there on Sunday, May 30, 2010 between 12h00 and 13h15 o'clock. The meeting with the team directors is in the same place at 13h30.

  • Anti-doping controls can be performed by the Luxemburgish Anti-Doping Agency (Agence Luxembourgeoise Anti-Dopage - ALAD). If so, they are taking place in the changing rooms of the old Sports Hall rue des Sports in Contern.

  • The award ceremony takes place immediately after the race on the podium next to the finish line. The three first riders of the race, the first U23 rider as well as the first Luxemburgish rider have to attend it.

  • Prices are according to the FSCL regulations

  • Radio-Tour frequency is 157,610 Mhz
