The course is situated at the exit of Contern in direction of Moutfort. The start and finish area is in the rue de Moutfort in Contern, next to the last houses of the village.
Start and Finish are on slighlty uphill tarmac sections.
The course is hilly and composed as follows: meadow 1000 m (38 %), asphalt 900 m (35 %), unpaved path 300 m (12 %), forest 400 m (15 %).
The main characteristics of the course are two uphill parts on asphalt, a very technical descent in the forest and the hilly part in the meadow with barriers and two short run-ups.
The double material pits are situated approximately 1300 meters from one another. They can be accessed by car until 10h30 o'clock for the deposit of material only, the road will be completely closed after 10h30 o'clock.
A lap on the course in Contern in 2018 with an on-board camera, together with Niels Vandeputte. This year's course is nearly identical with the one on the film.
