Nick Nuyens is a very talented classics rider, who can be brilliant in any race. He has narrowly missed a big win quite a few times and won some semi-classics like Het Nieuwsblad or Paris-Bruxelles. But this spring, Nuyens finally fulfilled his childhood dream by winning the "Mooiste" for a Flemish rider, the most beautifull one, the Tour of Flanders, ahead of Fabian Cancellara.

... allrounders ...

Jakob Fuglsang
Team Leopard-Trek

Jakob Fuglsang did not appear under the spotlights in the Tour de France 2011, simply because he was entirely commited to teamwork and supporting the Schleck brothers. He has however the talent to win big races, as is shown by a third place overall in the Tour de Suisse. This former MTB world champion is a very complete rider and he is capable of performing well in the mountains as well as against the clock.

Nicolas Roche
AG2R - La Mondiale

It isn't easy to fill the expectations when you are the son of Stephen Roche, but Nicolas is completing the challenge very well. What people like with the Irish rider is his offensive spirit which was obvious in all of the three Tour de France in which he participated, even if he did not quit reach his very ambitious goals in the overall classification this year, which was his main concern during this season.
