Kim Kirchen

born on July 3, 1978 (Luxembourg)

licensed at ACC Contern between 1992 and 1997 and between 2001 and 2010

Kim has ridden his first race on March 29, 1992 in Dommeldange with the jersey of ACC Contern. He has finished it in 4th place in the category "cadets". Between 1998 and 2000, Kirchen rode for the semi-professionel italien "De Nardi" team, and this period in Italy has allowed him to get a contract with Fassa Bortolo. The rest of his career, Kim was licensed at the ACC Contern. Unfortunately, his brilliant career was brutally interrupted in 2010 due to heart problems.
