The 2008 Luxemburgish National Cyclo-cross Championships are organized by the ACC Contern, in collaboration with the Fédération du Sport Cycliste Luxembourgeois (FSCL) and held on Sunday, January 6th, 2007 according to the rules of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and the FSCL. The start of the race for women, novices and juniors is at 14h00 o'clock in Contern (rue de Moutfort, next to the house with the number 46, after the last turn in direction of Contern) and the start for the elite and U23 categories is at 15h00 o'clock at the same place.

It is an National Cyclo-cross, registered in the calendar of the FSCL and open to women, novices, juniors, elite and U23 riders .
Only riders possessing the Luxemburgish Nationality on 01.01.2008 are allowed to start.
The club representatives have to register until Friday, December 28, 2007 each interested rider at the secretary of the FSCL, by using the official registration form that can be downloaded here. Definitive sign-in and distribution of the back numbers is on the day of the race in the bus from "Voyages Weber" situated in the rue de Moutfort in Contern, at the entrance of the course, from 12h30 to 13h30 o'clock for women, novices and juniors and from 13h30 to 14h30 for elite and U23 riders.
The length of the race has to approach as much as possible 30 minutes for the women and novices, 40 minutes for juniors and 60 minutes for the elite and U23 riders. The exact number of laps to be covered will be decided by the jury during each event.
Four seperated result lists are established, one for the women, one for the novices, one for the juniors and one for the elite and U23 riders. The rankings of the U23 riders within their common result list with the elite-riders are indicated.
Two material pits (double emplacement) are at the disposal of the riders on the circuit and they are controled by a commissaire. Only people with the badges supplied by the organizers have access to the pits. These badges are handled out to the contestants upon their registration (2 per rider)
The award ceremony takes place immediately after the finish of each race on the podium next to the finish line. The three first riders of all the categories are invited to attend it: women, novices, juniors, elite and U23-riders
