Luxemburgish National Cyclo-cross Championships 2008 - 06.01.2008 - Contern

Course:

The 2008 Luxemburgish cyclo-cross Nationals are held on a circuit of 2.700 meters. It is hilly and composed as follows: meadow 1.000 metres, asphalt 900 metres, path 500 metres, forest 300 metres. The main characteristics of the course are two uphill parts on asphalt, a very technical descent in the forest and the hilly part in the meadow with two short run-ups and an artificial obstacle. The double material pits are situated 1200 meters respectively 1400 meters from one another. They can be accessed by car until 12h00 o'clock for the deposit of material only, the road will be closed after 12h00 o'clock. Map: ACC Contern / Administration du Cadastre et de la Topographie  The parkings for the riders are in the rue de Moutfort in Contern, between the crossing with the rue von der Feltz and the beginning of the course, as well as in front of the primary school rue de Moutfort. The start is situated in the rue de Moutfort in Contern, next to the house with the number 46, after the last turn in direction of Contern. The finish line is in the rue de Moutfort next to the house with number 32. Registration and sign-in is in a bus from "Voyages Weber" situated in the rue de Moutfort, next to the entrance to the course. Showers and Changing rooms are in the old Sports centrum in the rue des Sports in Contern. Possible Anti-doping controls are to take place in the changing rooms of the old Sports centrum in the rue des Sports in Contern.
