Luxemburgish National Cyclo-cross Championships 2008 - 06.01.2008 - Contern

Access and parking:

Contern is located 10 km at the East of Luxembourg-town and 5 km from the airport. Carte: www.viamichelin.com To go there, you can take the exit 7 "Sandweiler - Remich" on the motorway A1 Luxembourg - Trier, then take the National road 2 direction Sandweiler until the roundabout "Scheedhaff". There, you can take the CR234 to Contern. After 2 km, there are parking possibilities on the left hand side in the Industrial Zone of Contern Parkings: We recommand to all the spectators to use one of our two parking places outside Contern, either the Zone Industrielle de Contern, rue Weiergewann and rue Edmond Reuter, coming from Sandweiler of Alzingen, or near new school and sports centrum in the rue de Syren, coming from the directions Moutfort (via deviation) and Syren. From these two points, the course can be reached by foot in about one kilometer. Inside the village of Contern, only few parking spots are available. The rider parking is situated in the rue de Moutfort in Contern, near to the circuit. Map: ACC Contern / Administration du Cadastre et de la Topographie  The parkings for the riders are in the rue de Moutfort in Contern, between the crossing with the rue von der Feltz and the beginning of the course, as well as in front of the primary school rue de Moutfort. The start is situated in the rue de Moutfort in Contern, next to the house with the number 46, after the last turn in direction of Contern. The finish line is in the rue de Moutfort next to the house with number 32. Registration and sign-in is in a bus from "Voyages Weber" situated in the rue de Moutfort, next to the entrance to the course. Showers and Changing rooms are in the old Sports centrum in the rue des Sports in Contern. Possible Anti-doping controls are to take place in the changing rooms of the old Sports centrum in the rue des Sports in Contern. Prize distribution and closing reception are held in the "Centre culturel An Henkes", rue de Moutfort in Contern
