The ACC Contern and its friends are in deep sadness about the death of Mister Renault Bruch, called "Men". Men was a long-year member of the cycling club of Contern and has always supported it, as coach for the riders, as member of the board and even in financial manner.
He was passionate about cycling and appreciated everywhere for his kindness and extraordinary knowledge. On the morning before a race, Men always chose in his collection a cap in relation to his favourite for the race and most of the time, he had the right colours on his head in the end. Unfortunately, health problems have held him away from the races too often in the last few years.
In 1993, the ACC Contern had already honoured the man by organizing the "Trophée Men Bruch", an international cyclo-cross race for novices and juniors. On this occasion, Men hasn't hesitated to pay the prizes for the riders from his own pocket. His disparation is a big loss for the Luxemburgish cycling world in general, and for the cycling-club of Contern in particular.
The ACC Contern presents its sincere condolences to Men's friends and family!
We are also deeply affected by the death of our long-term friend Guy Kayser. Guy was very often present at the events of the ACC Contern and always ready to bring a helping hand if needed. Sincere condolences also to his friends and family.
