Kim Kirchen honoured by the municipality of Niederanven

The municipality of Niederanven counts among its citizens the Best Luxemburgish Sportsman of the year 2005 and congratulated Kim Kirchen for this achievement and his performances through the last year.
ACC Contern wants to profit from this occasion to remind that on Saturday, April 29, 2006, the 82nd Grand-prix François Faber will take place in the municipality of Niederanven, combined with a "Kim Kirchen day" organized by Kim and his fans.
About 60 people have attended the event, during which they assisted to the speeches of Mr. Raymond Weydert, mayor of Niederanven, (photo top) and Mr. Jean Schiltz, representative for sports and president of the "Kim Kirchen fan-club" (photo bottom). Between the municipality of Niederanven and the cycling champions of the family Kirchen, there exists already a long relationship.
