Superb performance of Frank Schleck today. After the Olympic Games, Luxembourg places another one of his riders in the top 10 of the World Championships. Schleck has been on top of the game and present at the front of the field for the whole day, and when the Italian and Spanish squads set a hard pace in the penultimate lap, Frank was between the 25 riders who where able to follow. Despite attacks of Rasmussen, Bogaert, Basso, Valverde, Freire or Cunego on the last climb, this group stayed together and Frank Schleck could participate in the sprint for the title, in which he took a very nice 10th place. | report and results on www.cyclingnews.com
