Kim Kirchen does well

He has been on the attack with his team mate Michele Bartoli. Behind the four leaders of the race, the two Fassa Bortolo were in the first pousuit group. Kim finally finished 8th of the race 2'20" behind Michael Boogerd. Frank Schleck has finished 54th of the general classification of the Critérium International 1'54" behind the winner Laurent Brochard

In the main bunch

Our two riders have finished in the main bunch of their races this saturday. In the critérium international, where there was a massive sprint won by Damien Nazon, Frank Schleck is 90th with the same time than the leader. At the Grand-Prix de l'E3 àin Harelbeke, after having been on the attack with 60 km to go, Kim Kirchen finally finishes 24th with a 26" gap to Steven de Jongh

7th stage: 16th and 69th

These are the places of our riders in the final general classification. Kim has finished the last stage in the second bunch (28th place) 1'42" behind the stage winner. He is 3rd in the best young rider overall classification. Frank Schleck has finished the stage in 43ème position at 8 minutes.

6th stage: Close to victory

Kim Kirchen was not far away from victory today by winning the sprint of the main bunch. Unfortunately for him, there were five riders escaped with and they terminated with a few seconds advantage on the peleton. Kirchen is 6th of the stage and Schleck 104th.

5th stage: Kirchen 27th and Schleck 53th on the Mont Faron

Our two riders have done well on the Mont Faron. Both reach the top of the climb in a little group, 51 seconds and 2'17" behind Vinokourov. In the overall classification, Kim is 17th at 2'45" et Frank 54th at 11 minutes.

4th stage: not too much damage in the time trial

In this flat time trial, Kim is 33rd 1'06" behind his team-mate Frigo and two places before an other Luxembourgish rider, Benoît Joachim. He is 19th in the general classification at 1'57". Frank Schleck finishes the time trial in 69th place.

2nd stage: Schleck well and Kirchen very well

Kim has attacked on the last climb, preparing the offensive of his leader Dario Frigo. He finishes the stage in 12th spot 46" behind the leader. 12th place also in the overall classification. Frank stayed with his leader Tyler Hamilton until the last climb and finishes 73th at 7 minutes.
