km 0 127 riders are lining up for a bigger lap of 77 km, and then 4 smaller ones around Berbourg.
km 12 The peloton rides alongside the Moselle and despite several attacks, no one makes a difference.
km 40 Still the same scenery: several attacks but the peloton reacts each time. The long climb up to Oetrange isn't tough enough to split the field.
km 55 Peloton still compact.
km 71 A little bit before the entrance on the local circuit, two riders manage to break away at last. Steven Van Aken and Dominique Vettenbourg of CC Valcaprimontois have 30 seconds of advance.
km 84 Steines, Lemmens, Guldbaek, Klein and Feremans join the leading duo, so that they are now 7 in front, among them Luxemburgish rider Luc Steines who rides for the Belgian team Jette Sportief.
km 86 Frank Klein from PSV Köln is dropped from the front group.
km 87 Steven Van Aken attacks and takes the lead alone. Three more riders bridge up to the chasers: Marichal, Spyer and Petersen.

Finish Jörgen Bo Petersen wins the 6th Grand-prix Ostfenster with 49 seconds on Thierry Marichal who wins the sprint for second place against Kentz Westergaard.
